Barbara Klein is a contemporary artist who works in paint and digital media. Her work investigates the role of the individual in the dynamic social media conversation through body imagery. Through abstracted images, she brings attention to the language of the body and its place within the media conversation. Her work evokes self-reflection while connecting individuals through the commonality of physical and emotional traits.
A Texas native, Barbara received her MFA in Visualization from Texas A&M University, her MS from Sam Houston State, and her BS from Texas A&M University. She continues to reside in Texas. Her works have been shown in Key West, Florida and Rochester, New York.
